MUSIC.

My music is a hybrid creature: a crossover between classical music, jazz and improvisationAll three of these elements have accompanied me from when I started studying the piano, the beginning of my journey through many musical discoveries.  I owe my technical preparation to my classical education: sight reading, an ear for detail, my approach to sound, and the humble feeling of the student who is faced with an infinite repertoire and the example of numerous great interpreters.  To jazz, I owe my sense and taste for harmonic complexity, the improvisation of form, rhythm and swing, and above all, a propensity for interplay between musicians. This unique form of joy happens every time that one plays in good company. Improvisation has given me an outlet for the immediate expression of ideas. Here, I can let myself go, create an inner dialogue with the piano, variations on a theme and on rhythms, and channel the continuous flow of ideas in sound that emanate from the deepest spheres of the mind.  Above all, my soul as a musician has been influenced strongly by the teachers that I have studied with and who shaped me. I will always keep their precious advice with me. I have been lucky to have met great interpreters who have opened my mind and the doors to my musical perception.  I feel very fortunate, and I am grateful to those whom I have met, and continue to meet, in this passionate journey through life and music.
